WHAT JAMB STUDENTS SHOULD DO IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL AND SEATING FOR THEIR EXAM.....

My Students please pause scrolling and read this crucial Advice Carefully Especially the first timers ( seating for the first time)

Upon Arrival at the Centre:

Locate Your Centre: Arrive early (at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before the time).

Compulsory Biometric Verification: Ensure your fingerprints are scanned for verification immediately. If not done, ask the invigilator.

Check Prohibited Items: Do not bring phones, calculators, smartwatches, or bags into the hall.

Submit/Keep Slip: Submit one copy of your printed exam slip (colored preferred) to the invigilator and keep one for reference.



Inside the Exam Hall:

Locate Your Seat: Identify your assigned computer/seat.

Check System Functionality: Immediately check if the computer mouse and keyboard are working properly before the exam begins.

Check CPU Position: Check if the CPU is at your feet. If so, position your legs carefully to avoid accidentally shutting it down.

Raise Your Hand for Issues: If the system is not working, raise your hand immediately to inform the invigilator.

Verify Your Details: After logging in with your registration number, confirm that the photo and details appearing on the screen are yours.

Before Starting the Exam

Read Instructions: Carefully read the instructions appearing on the screen, particularly about how to move to the next question, go back, and select options.

Say a Prayer: Calm your nerves by taking a moment to pray.

Note the 'Start' Button: Locate the "Start Exam" button, but do not click it until you are completely ready.



Start with Strength: Begin with the subject you are strongest in (usually English is recommended, as it can be completed quickly).

Manage Time: Budget your time, aiming for less than 1 minute per question.

Answer All Questions: Ensure all 180 questions are answered, as there is no penalty for guessing.

Crucial Advice: Your time starts counting down immediately you click "Start Exam". If the computer freezes, press F5 or contact the invigilator.
